- Tree Removal and Stump Grinding in Lexington, SC
Introduction
Removing one tree can be a sizable project. Removing four trees and grinding every stump during the same visit takes the right crew, equipment, and planning.
That was the job Shealey’s Property Care completed for this Lexington, SC homeowner. After providing a quote and scheduling the work, Jake Shealey and his crew arrived as planned and removed all four trees in one day.
The project did not stop once the trees were down. The remaining stumps were ground so the homeowner was not left with four obstacles in the yard. Jake also followed up after the job to make sure the customer was happy with the completed work.
Project Summary
Location: Lexington, SC
Service: Four-Tree Removal and Stump Grinding
Equipment Used / Tools: Chainsaws, professional rigging equipment, skid steer, stump grinder, debris trailers, and wood chippers
Crew: Owner-led crew of 4 experienced tree service professionals
Completion Time: Completed in one day
The Challenge
The homeowner needed four trees completely removed from the property. Stump grinding was also part of the project, so the job involved much more than cutting the trees down and hauling away branches.
Each removal needed to be planned around the surrounding property. Once the trees were down, the crew still needed to address the remaining stumps and manage the resulting debris.
Timing mattered too. The homeowner expected the crew to arrive when scheduled and wanted the entire scope handled without the project stretching across several visits.
Main Challenges
- Removing four trees while carefully managing the surrounding property and work area.
- Grinding all remaining stumps after the tree removals were complete.
- Coordinating equipment, debris removal, and cleanup so the entire project could be completed in one day.
“Shealy’s provided a quote and once I approved it they scheduled the job. They arrived as planned and completed the work the same day removing 4 trees and the stumps were grinded. Jake Shealy is professional and has state of the art equipment to perform the work. I appreciate Jake’s follow up to assure I was happy with their service.”

Good to Know
What happens after a tree comes down? Unless stump removal or grinding is included, part of the tree can remain in the yard.
Stump grinding reduces the remaining stump below ground level and makes the area easier to work around. It can also give homeowners more options when planning future lawn or landscaping changes.
For a project involving several trees, completing removal and stump grinding together can keep the process more straightforward. The crew can handle the trees, stumps, debris, and cleanup as part of one coordinated job.
Our Solution
Jake Shealey first provided the homeowner with a quote for the requested work. Once the quote was approved, Shealey’s Property Care scheduled the project and arrived on the agreed day.
The crew brought the equipment needed to handle all four removals efficiently. The trees were taken down, material was managed throughout the work, and the crew moved from one removal to the next without requiring another service day.
After all four trees were removed, the crew turned its attention to the remaining stumps. Each stump was ground so the homeowner received a more complete result rather than being left to arrange stump grinding separately.
The entire project was completed that same day.
Jake’s involvement also continued after the equipment left the property. He followed up with the homeowner to confirm that she was satisfied with the service and completed work.
Homeowners who need professional tree removal in Lexington SC can work with Shealey’s Property Care for both tree removal and stump grinding.

Our Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can multiple trees be removed in one day?
In some cases, yes. The time required depends on the number, size, condition, and location of the trees, plus access for equipment. On this Lexington project, Shealey’s Property Care removed four trees and ground the remaining stumps in one day.
2. Can stump grinding be completed with tree removal?
Yes. Shealey’s Property Care offers stump grinding along with tree removal. Combining both services can leave the work area more complete without requiring the homeowner to schedule a separate stump grinding company.
3. What happens to the stump after a tree is removed?
Cutting down a tree normally leaves the stump and root system behind. A stump grinder can reduce the visible stump below ground level. The exact depth and final condition of the area can depend on the stump and project requirements.
The Result
By the end of the day, all four trees had been removed and their stumps ground. The homeowner did not have to schedule another visit to finish the remaining stump work.
Just as important, the project followed the timeline discussed beforehand. The crew arrived as planned, completed the work that day, and handled the full scope with professional equipment.
Lisa also appreciated something that happened after the physical work was finished. Jake followed up personally to make sure she was satisfied with the service.
